Step one: Keep a list of words, phrases and quotations. As you watch the documentary The Last Days and look back at Maus, record words, phrases, or quotations that are particularly interesting or meaningful.
Step two: Determine a theme Look over your list and identify a theme word that represents some or all of the language you have selected. A theme word is a broad concept such as obedience or loyalty.
Step three: Compose your Poem. Using only your list, arrange the words and phrases to create a poem. You cannot add your own words when creating a found poem (not even articles or prepositions), but you can repeat words or phrases. In addition, you do not need to use all of the words or phrases.
Step four: Write a rationale Explain your thinking behind your poem. Describe your word choice and theme.
Step five: Share Post your Found Poem on your wiki page.
